How is the kit packed?
All the freshly prepared food is vacuum-packed to ensure freshness. Kits are packed with ice packs, and while these may defrost slightly during transit, they would have kept things cool.
Do I need to cook anything?
All our packs are cooked freshly and designed for convenience of simply heating at home. However, the only item that does require cooking by customers is the Basmati Rice as this cannot be cooked and packed for health and hygiene reasons. Kindly follow individual pack instructions to ensure maximum flavour of your meal.
Where can I find storage & warming instructions?
All storage and warming instructions are clearly detailed on the individual packs. In case you have thrown the packaging, these instructions can also be found here.
How many people does each pack feed?
Each pack feeds 2 adults
Does the kit contain allergen information?
Yes. All packs contain individual allergen information and these are highlighted in bold. Core allergens are listed on the ordering page but if you have any specific concerns please email us at hello@kolambahome.co.uk
We take all reasonable precautions to prevent cross contamination. However, there may be a risk that traces of all allergens can be found in any dish and we cannot 100% guarantee there will be no cross-contamination.
How long can I keep the packs for?
Packs must be put in the fridge upon receipt; we advise consuming the packs by the 'Use By' date on each pack (on average this is around 3-4 days).
Where is my order?
Orders can be tracked via Parcel Force tracking number and their tracking service. All tracking details should be included in your dispatch email, which you should receive prior to delivery. If for some reason your kit has not arrived or is delayed please email us at hello@kolambahome.co.uk
Pls note: Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and we cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control. If delivery fails on the selected day, please note delivery will not be attempted the next day.
It is your responsibility to ensure that someone will be at the address to accept the delivery when being made.

Where do you deliver and how much will it cost?
We deliver through England, Wales and most of Scotland - the Highlands and N.I are excluded.
